Dermatitis is typically the occurrence of itchy and red colored rashes on the skin due to inflammation. Not only red rashes, this disease can typically cause anything between skin lesions to lichenification and skin scaling. It is triggered by a variety of reasons. One of the most common reasons for the development of this disease is the dryness of skin. The skin lacking the essential moisture gives rise to the occurrence of both atopic eczema and nummular dermatitis. In nummular dermatitis, the person experiences the formation of small circles in the size of a small coin. This type of rash is mostly present on the dry patch of the skin.
Secondly, one’s allergy towards the popular allergens like dust, soap, hay and laundry detergents can trigger the development of the disease called allergic contact dermatitis. Sometimes, this disease is also referred as atopic eczema and irritant contact dermatitis. This form of disease can occur after the establishment of a minor contact with any of the above mentioned irritants. Further, the harmful micro-organism fungal can also cause this disease. The occurrence of any fungal disease can cause the inflammation of the skin and lead to the production of dermatitis rashes all over the body. Other triggers of this disease are overt scratching and the contact between the wet diapers and the skin of infant for long hours.
